When it comes to live entertainment, SB Prime is picking up where places like Dakota's left off.

There were always lots of bars to go to in Burlington, but when you wanted to dance to live bands you went to places like Dakotas Bar at the Travelodge Downtown on Lakeshore. With those places no longer around Prime is picking up where they left off by bringing back the tradition of a night out dancing to Live Entertainment geared towards a 30 plus crowd. You'll find a Friday and Saturday night out at Prime reminiscent of those days...that's because Prime is brought to you by the same group of people who originally got the dance floor going at Dakotas back in the day.

You'll recognize most of the live bands being booked through The Rob Taggart Agency, bands like; Graffiti Park, Sweater Puppets, Sonic Playground, Night Fly, The Nomads and more. The room at Prime was created by the man who took Dakotas from  'Bar' to 'Dance club'. With a more modern and sexy feel this time, dark reds and luxurious circular booths make every space a great place to dance or just take in the scene...and just to top it off you may even recognize a face or two slinging drinks behind the bar.

There are lots of bars around town but Prime is the place to go when you want a chic and stylish night out and you're looking to dance to live bands playing all the songs you know, in a room that offers a touch of sophistication.
