Thursday night Salon Teo's Brock Stacy put on Charity Fashion show "A Dress for Every Body" hosted at SB Prime. This was Brock's debut Fashion event, with over 200 tickets sold the evening, which was held in support of breast cancer was a huge success. Some of the highlights included a series of fashion shows featuring local downtown clothing boutiques Joelle's & The Oyster bringing a wonderful selection of clothing styles appealing to an array of women. The wonderful thing about the fashion portion of the evening was that several of the models walking the runway were Breast Cancer survivors themselves. The evening also offered many great musicians performing all night, the amazing women from Breast of Friends were on hand selling wonderful pieces of jewelery of which 100% of the profits benefit breast cancer as well as the silent auction held on the upstairs floor which was loaded with items that had been donated by many local businesses. Congratulations to Brock & Salon Teo and everyone involved in raising money and awareness for Breast Cancer.

As reported back in August SB Prime opened it's doors to Two time Juno award nominated local band St. Alvia Cartel for the filming of their lasted video "Romeo" off their newest album titled Between the Lines. Directed by Davin Black of 235 films, the video follows the band as they slowly watch "fellow band member" (played by Actor and Comedian, T.V's Jon Dore ) spinning out of control, letting fame and a rocker lifestyle boost his ego to a level they can no longer tolerate. Cleaver and funny, this video is worth checking out, be sure to look for the scenes shot at S.B Prime

Last weekend marked the 14th year of Canada's Largest Ribfest - Ribfest Burlington at Spencer Smith park, where 18 Rib teams from across North America competed for the title of "Best Ribs". This years event proved to be much larger than previous years, with 175,000 people in attendance, that's 27,000 more then last years event.

Burlington Ribfest is organized by The Rotary Club Burlington Lakeshore as a way of raising money for local charities, and this year the Rotary Club was pleased to announce they had raised an estimated $320,000 from this event.

This year SB Prime had the honour of catering the ribfests VIP tent, an impressive enclave within the busy festival and the perfect setting for sponsors, members and VIP guest to enjoy catered lunches and dinner events by Prime.
